The George Washington Bridge’s 156 LED necklace lights will shine with blue light for the month of September to commemorate National Prostate Health Month.
“The Port Authority is honored to join with Fans for the Cure by shining a spotlight on men’s health,” Port Authority Executive Director Pat Foye said. “Illuminating the George Washington Bridge with blue lights will honor those affected by prostate cancer, and remind everyone of the steps they can take to protect their health.”
