In this interview with our charity’s founder, Ed Randall, Ozzie Smith takes us on his post-MLB journey, which has included a prostate cancer diagnosis and forty-five radiation treatments that returned him to health and his regular tee times. One can hear the excitement in his voice as he describes his various projects, including a golf project called PGA Reach, a Board position at the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, and his role as a prostate cancer advocate. As you would expect, Ozzie was outspoken about the importance of delivering the message of PSA testing and early detection to the Black community.
