As 2019 gets underway, Fans for the Cure would like to express our deep appreciation to the men and women who teamed up with us by making a life-saving investment in our efforts with a contribution to our end-of-year campaign. Together, we raised more than $19,000, which will help advance our mission of working with the medical, sports and entertainment communities to save men’s lives by promoting the early detection and treatment of prostate cancer and supporting prostate cancer research.
2019 promises to be an exciting year for FFTC. We will continue our great awareness and educational programming, but we are going to step up to the plate even more in two significant ways. This year, we will substantially increase our reach to people at higher risk of prostate cancer, particularly in underserved communities. We also will begin to support crucial research, working with our Medical Advisory Board to determine the areas of greatest need and impact.
Thank you to all of our generous supporters in 2018. You are playing an important role in empowering men to take control of their health, enabling more men to overcome or live with the disease, and keeping more seats filled at the table on every holiday.
