Join us for the Fans for the Cure Wiffle Ball Tournament & Afternoon Family Barbecue. We are heading to the New York Athletic Club on Travers Island in New York, on the shores of Long Island Sound. Grab your hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen and make a day of it!
Schedule of the Day: Saturday, August 31, 2024
- Tournament: 1 PM – 3 PM
- Barbecue on the hill: 3 PM – 6 PM
- Arrive anytime after 12 PM
- Free parking
- Dress casual
Wiffle Ball Tournament
- Teams can have up to three fielders (including a pitcher) and up to five batters. Two designated hitters!
- Brackets and seeds to be determined by event organizers.
- There will be strike zones and no running (!!!).
- Winning team will be presented with the Garvey Trophy.
- Home Run Derby
- $60 per team (minimum 3 players, max. 5 players)
- $20 single entry (Don’t have a team? Sign up as a single and get assigned to a team on the day of)
